Are you looking for scholarships in Suffolk County? You're in luck! The Suffolk Foundation, SUNY Suffolk County Community College (SCCC), and the Suffolk County Health Department all offer a variety of scholarships for both new and continuing students. With so many options available, you can find the perfect scholarship to help you reach your educational goals. The Suffolk Foundation has 14 scholarships that it awards annually. These scholarships have different criteria set by the donors, and there is no limit to the number of scholarships a student can apply for.

Students are encouraged to apply before the scholarship application deadline, which is listed next to each scholarship on the Online Scholarship System. SCCC offers hundreds of scholarships for new and continuing students. Most of these scholarships are awarded for the fall semester, but some are renewable for up to four semesters. These scholarships are made possible by generous individuals, student organizations, university faculty and staff, local and community groups, business enterprises, and through the fundraising activities of the Suffolk Community Colleges Foundation. The Suffolk County Health Department has established full scholarships for Suffolk County residents who wish to obtain CASAC certification in the OTI. These scholarships are charged to the first phase of opioid settlement funds in Suffolk County and cover the full tuition of the 350-hour CASAC program that will begin in September and end in the summer of 2024.
